Welcome to Fixed Long Island (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, directory, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using Fixed, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
 

1. Overview of Services

Fixed Long Island provides an online marketplace connecting homeowners and businesses (“Users”) with local contractors and service professionals (“Vendors”).

  • Users can browse listings and contact Vendors free of charge.

  • Vendors pay a monthly listing fee to appear in our directory and may opt for additional promotional opportunities.
     

2. Vendor Listings and Payments

  • Vendors must register and be approved by Fixed before being listed.

  • The standard listing fee is $49 per month following any promotional or introductory period.

  • Payments are processed through our secure payment partners.

  • Listings will automatically renew monthly unless canceled prior to the renewal date.

  • Fixed reserves the right to suspend or remove listings for nonpayment, misleading content, or policy violations.
     

3. Approval and Content Accuracy

All vendor submissions are reviewed before publication to ensure relevance and accuracy.

  • Vendors are solely responsible for the accuracy of their business information, including licenses, insurance, and qualifications.

  • Fixed Long Island does not guarantee the quality of any service provider, nor does it verify credentials beyond the information provided.
     

4. No Guarantee or Liability

Fixed acts solely as a listing platform. We are not a party to any contract or transaction between Users and Vendors.

  • We do not endorse, warrant, or guarantee the work, pricing, or reliability of any vendor.

  • Users are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before hiring a professional.

  • Fixed shall not be liable for damages, losses, or disputes arising from use of the platform or engagement with listed vendors.
     

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Vendors may cancel their subscription at any time.

  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

  • Because listings are published immediately, payments are non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun.
     

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Fixed website—including text, design, graphics, and trademarks—is the property of Fixed and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.
 

7. Updates to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of Fixed after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
